ASME has the scale, expertise and resources to fulfil contracts of significant magnitude and budget, yet it remains a family business. Michael Gibbons holds the position of managing director, his wife Susan Gibbons hold the position of Financial Director instead of (acts as financial director) and their daughter Sandra Perkins is a Commercial Executive specialising in all the commercial aspects of the company working directly under the Directors Michael & Susan . We believe that as a family-run business we have been able to develop an ethos which offers our clients a level of service far more personal and accommodating than is usual in our industry.
It’s this ethos which has also led us to support the engineering department of a local school, Salvatorian College in Harrow Weald. We donated a substantial sum of money to enable the school to purchase machinery and have welcomed students visiting our workshop for educational trips or for work experience. With this scheme Michael and Susan Gibbons aim to create strong ties with the local community while encouraging young people to consider the career prospects that our industry offers.
