Health & Safety
ASME Engineering Ltd regard compliance with health and safety law as a crucial area of management responsibility. We aim to conduct all activities in a manner which ensures, as far as is practicable, the health and safety of our employees, partners, clients and the public at large.
This is an area strictly monitored and administered for us by an external company, The Health and Safety People Ltd, who are one of the UK ’s most respected health and safety consultancies. They have produced for ASME a tailored health and safety policy that is the result of a thorough process of premises inspection, assessment of procedures, document audit and the identification of training requirements. Their monthly newsletter and regular training sessions keep our team abreast of any new legislation or developments in this area of critical importance.
Our policy is available to view on request. It covers all aspects such as management structure and organisation for health and safety, the responsibilities of individuals within our staff, risk assessment procedures and working practices, and those procedures and accompanying guidance which must be kept by staff, visitors and contractors.
ASME is also a member of the Constructions Skills Certification Scheme. For more details please visit cscs.uk.com
