Whether it is at our headquarters in Harrow, our workshop in Park Royal, or on-site working in partnership with a contractor, ASME Engineering Ltd always strives to conduct our business in accordance with principles of environmental assurance.

Our business is ISO 14001 certified and the production and assembly of our steel structures always complies with the relevant legislation regarding stewardship of the environment.

In our industry there is a clear responsibility to minimise any negative impact we might have on the natural environment. Whilst on site we monitor our performance so that we are able to respond swiftly to any incident by adapting our working methods accordingly. At every stage, from initial planning to project completion, we liaise closely with our partnering contractors so that together we can integrate our environmental processes. We work with our clients to control potential hazards, conserve energy and natural resources, reduce emissions and prevent pollution, and to minimise noise and other nuisances.

Structural steel’s low cost, strength, durability, design flexibility, adaptability and recyclability continue to make it the material of choice in building construction. Many of our clients are looking to utilise more environmentally responsible materials and techniques, and we can advise them on the role steel can play in promoting greater sustainability by reducing waste.
